About Us


A hidden gem in technology research & development since 2007, Bezerra Corporation is now poised to take its place at the forefront of small business American engineering.  We are a people-oriented firm dedicated to ingenuity, forward thinking, and bold innovation.  We believe the climate of change in this country is not limited to political ideology, but as broad as the scope of one's imagination.

Bezerra's crown jewel is its motion-transfer technology (under provisional patent).  Its application to the Bezerra Stepper bicycle may at long last bring cycling into the new millennium, and its anticipated future application to several other modes of transportation (tricycle, wheelchair, etc.) only increases the excitement surrounding this advancement in human-powered movement.  (Also, you can now link to our current videos off our Current News page!)

Our Foundation


While Bezerra Corporation was formally founded in 2007, our roots and passion have been growing for nearly 21 years.  Our dreams and ambitions began in the mind of Wilson Bezerra, who began to envision a world where movement should not be hindered by out-moded technology, but strengthened by new innovations.

Wilson's work started rather humbly, in a basement workshop on late nights after he completed his day's work as a financial, tax and travel expert.  He felt the gears in his mind beginning to turn in tandem with the wheels of the bicycle, and as his ideas began to flourish, they began to spin faster and faster.  The concept of the Bezerra Stepper Mechanism (provisionally patented) took shape and form, and it wasn't long before Wilson started devoting more of his time, money, and energy to the project.

Slowly, the Bezerra movement picked up steam.  His findings were backed by multiple independent testing labs and engineers.  His design was approved for mass-start races by the US Cycling Federation.  His designs were provisionally patented in the United States.  It was time to share his vision with the world.

Our Mission


Today, the Bezerra Corporation is taking exciting and necessary steps towards the future.  The final Stepper prototype is ready to be shared with manufacturers and the world, pending the proper independent financing.  Bezerra Corporation is also committed to applying the Bezerra Stepper Mechanism to other forms of human-powered transportation, increasing the ability of all people - regardless of age or some physical limitation - to move more simply and freely.

Bezerra's commitment to its role as a leading research & development firm allows us to hone our focus strictly on the formation, development, and actualization of new technologies.  Our patent-retention licensing strategy allows us to frame ourselves as a free-moving innovator, unencumbered by the forces of other firms.

Corporate Bios


Wilson X. Bezerra, President & CEO


Mr. Bezerra's career spans more than 30 years in finance and insurance, the last 10 years of which he has served as a mortgage underwriter and officer.  Since February 2008, he has worked with ACS Mortgage Corporation, and from 1986-2008, he was an accountant with ACS Financial Services Corp.  At ACS Financial, he was involved with the preparation of tax returns for individuals, small businesses, and complex corporations.  He completed and reviewed mortgage applications for clients, advised clients on their financial status, and determined mortgage need requirements. 

Coinciding with his tenure at ACS Financial, he was also an agent and broke for ACS Insurance Agency, Inc., where he was responsible for selling life, automobile, property, health, and insurance insurance products to individuals, businesses, and public institutions.  Prior positions include: Security Administration with Chase Manhattan Bank (1982-86) and IRS agent (1977-81).

Mr. Bezerra received his degree in accounting from Rutgers University in 1977.  In addition, he holds a real estate license from Kovac Real Estate and Insurance School.  He is licensed as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Mortgage Broker, and Insurance Agent & Broker.  He also earned certificates from the IRS and graduated from the prestigious Criminal Investigator Academy.

Silvana Bezerra, Vice President of Operations


Since 1989, Ms. Bezerra has been the President for ACS Insurance Agency, Inc., ACS Financial Services Corp., and ATS Advanced Travel Services Corp., all located in Totowa, NJ.  She negotiated and sold wholesale and group travel fares, specialized in discount travel packages for companies, civic groups, clubs, and other organizations, and managed all representatives of the travel agency.  Her experience has given her a solid foundation in staff supervision and computer systems training.

From 1976-1989, Ms. Bezerra was involved both in taxpayer service and as an agent with the Internal Revenue Service.  In this position, she developed specific skills and expertise, including:
1. Interpreting or applying federal tax law for individuals, businesses and/or exempt organizations, partnerships, and corporations;
2. Knowledge of business and trade practices necessary to develop tax issues based on analysis and evaluation of overall business operations and financial conditions; and
3. Knowledge of corporate financial transactions and financial management practices, as well as skill in interacting and negotiating with specialists in accounting, legal, tax, and other similar business-related professions.
Ms. Bezerra received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in French and minor in accounting from Montclair State University.
